Privacy policy
- Your privacy as a customer of the The Rod Shop is very important to us. Any
information we collect from you, our customer, will not be sold or rented to
third parties. This information is used solely for processing your order and
providing you with customer support if needed.

Payment Method - Our Shopping Cart
gladly accepts Visa, Master Card, and Discover which is processed through
Authorize.Net,
a pioneer in payment processing solutions, for quick and safe
credit card processing.
Orders by telephone, e-mail,
at trade shows etc. for custom rods and other custom items or services
may require a deposit. The deposit can be paid by credit card,
personal check or money order.
A 33% deposit is required on all custom rod orders and payment in
full before delivery. All other rod work requires a deposit for the
needed components and payment in full before delivery.

Please note: The above shipping schedule does not apply to the shipping
and handling of our custom rods. The shipping costs of our custom rods
will be quoted separately based on length.
Return Policy - All returns must be
authorized by calling 630 897 2897. Returns made without a return
authorization will be refused. Returns must be made within 20 days. Cost of
return shipping is the responsibility of you, the customer, unless

Shop is responsible for the error, or if a newly-shipped item is determined to
be defective.

If you received a defective or
incorrect product, upon return it will be replaced with no responsibility to
you, the customer.

If you order an
incorrect catalog number or an item does not meet your needs, a
return approval will be at the discretion of the management. If
returned after the 20 day period, a 15% restocking charge will
be applied.

If you refuse a
package you order you are responsible for the round trip freight.

Workmanship used in Custom
rods and other products manufactured in our shop are covered against defects
to the original owner without time limits. The rod blanks and materials used
in our custom rods are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Damage due
to normal use and wear will be quoted at a reasonable rate.

Other products are covered by
that manufacturer's warranty policy.
